New ESC Region 11 Staff Members
Objective
Over the past year, our organization implemented a comprehensive onboarding program for new ESC staff. This program is comprised of a "First Day of Work" orientation as well asa more in-depth immersion into our organizational family. On our employees' first day of work, they are given this Onboarding Journey infographic, with the objective of outlining the various touch points involved from day 1 and throughout the first 90 days of employment.
This flyer is one of the first publications a new employee receives from the ESC, and it represents the quality standard of work we strive to display and our ESC brand standards inaction. First impressions are so important, and this document helps to set our new employees up for success and give them a sense of confidence that their onboarding experience will be seamless, thorough, and professional.
Evidence of Success
Our new onboarding process involves multiple "check-ins" with new staff throughout their first 90 days of work. Feedback from these new employees has been that they are well-prepared for their new careers at the ESC and that they were provided with clearly outlined tools and resources to make their onboarding journey a positive and successful one.
