Target Audience
School Nurses in the North Texas region
Objective
ESC Region 11 received a state grant to expand health services to campuses in our region. As part of this initiative, we created a brochure for school nurses to introduce our new services designed to provide support and high-quality healthcare to all staff and students in the Region 11 geographic area.
This nursing grant was the first of its kind, and our district nurses were not accustomed to utilizing the ESC as a primary resource for services. This brochure was the "calling card" that our staff used to introduce themselves and start the conversation about how our grant funds could enhance the health services at our campuses.
Evidence of Success
Our team initially identified 9 school districts that we thought would most benefit from these services. Once we reached out to them, using our brochure as an introduction to our new services, all 9 districts were thrilled to participate in the grant initiative!
